At Magnuson Park earlier this week, a Red-tailed Hawk posed nicely for me:
And for today, some photos from the Montlake Fill, where Truman and spent a happy two hours this morning.
Red-winged Blackbirds:
Yet another Cooper's Hawk fanning its feathers.
Truman got out of his stroller for a while.
And then got back in.
In Yesler Swamp, we had a Downy Woodpecker.
And a Spotted Towhee behind annoying branches.
The forecast for the weekend looks very promising for outdoor sketching and more birding. Until then, happy Friday!
