Osprey Update: almost ready to fly

The three Osprey youngsters at the Montlake Fill are getting big -- I'd say at least two-thirds the size of the parents, and they are busy flexing their wings.  They might test out their flight feathers any day now -- which is frustrating, since the construction of the new wetlands is keeping the trail officially closed every day except Sunday.

I managed to get down there this past weekend -- it was overcast, so couldn't get very bright photos, but did get some good ones.
