On Sunday morning down at the Montlake Fill, two of the three young Osprey were soaring overhead with their dad. Hoorah! It was magnificent to watch. The weather, however, did not cooperate for photos -- too gray/overcast. And the birds were way off and way high up -- this is the best shot I managed:
Meanwhile, the third and youngest youngster stayed on the nest with mom, making practice hops from one end of the platform to the other, and then staring over the edge but not making the leap into flight. Maybe next time!
