Sketches from the past week

I haven't done a lot of sketching lately due to weather but did manage to do one short outing with Tina to Sky Nursery where it was cold and we stayed inside, and also got to Swanson's Nursery with Nicole on a nicer warmer day where we were able to draw both inside and outside.

One nice thing about nurseries is they always have colorful displays of tools:

Sky Nursery also had a colorful planter next to some shelves full of hummingbird feeders:

I did try to draw outside but got too cold and so I drew this in about five minutes before calling it quits:

At Swanson's Nursery there is an indoor Christmas train display which is huge--I was able to sketch just one small section with its whimsical buildings:

My favorite drawing of the week was of this giant topiary dinosaur:

We are supposed to have sunshine and temperatures up to the mid-60s today, and I hope to get out and about.  Just not sure yet where!
